My favourite breakfast.

This morning was the ultimate start to the day. Running down to the beach, laps in the baths, soaking up some early morning vitamin D and coming home to a big breakfast.
It sounds weird but i honestly go to bed fantasising about food the next morning, and every few weeks i get hooked on a new breakfast recipe. At the moment i’ve been having porridge, even though it’s summer and it isn’t the coolest option. But oats really stick to me, and goddamn this brew is delicious!
I cook oats on water, then add a couple of spoonfuls of cottage cheese (for protein – also makes it less sickly sweet which i sometimes find with porridge), a small banana, some chopped strawberries, walnuts and chia seeds. Then i go overboard with the agave and end up with a sludgy concotion of goodness!
Making an effort to get up early and get out amongst it is one of the best changes i’ve made to my routine in the last couple of years. Give it a try and learn to love breakfast!
